WOW! I can't begin to say how amazing this bridal salon was. In particular how amazing the owner, Janelle Leer was. She went out of her way to make sure that I was happy with the dress purchase I had made. I had been dealing with her each time that I had been in the store, and when I went back to purchase my dress in February, she wasn't in that day, so I placed my order, and paid in full. I was told that the dress should arrive at the end of June, early July, but it arrived in May. Thankfully it arrived early, because when I had placed my order, I was told that the size I would need was one size smaller than the sample gown I had tried on. I thought that was weird, the sample one seemed to fit me just perfectly, but being that the lady worked there, I decided that she probably knew what she was talking about, so I went with her word. Well, once the dress arrived, it was indeed not the right size at all. It fit me because it is a lace-up gown, but it did NOT look right at all. So I decided to talk to Janelle about it to see what she said. After voicing my concerns to her, she said she'd see what she could do and she'd call me back. The next week, she called me back saying that she had another gown on the way in the bigger size, but it would take longer to get here. She also said that she would keep the original gown that I had ordered put away. She did that so that I could try the two gowns on when the new one came in so that I could compare the two sizes. So when the new one came in, as soon as I put it on, I knew that it was the right size, and I din't even need to try the original one on.
So not only did she go out of her way to bring in another dress for me when many other salons would have said "too bad... you got what you ordered", but when I had found a coupon for a 10% any purchase AFTER I had already paid for my dress in full, she helped me find a way to use it. She sid that I couldn't use it on my dress to get any money back, but if there was anything else in the store that I was going to purchase, I could use it on that. Well, I had inquired about a bridal cape, and she said that they were $100 to rent, so I was all prepared to use the coupon on that, when she offered the cape rental to me for free. She said that if I had used the coupon on my dress, I would have received about $100 off, so she gave the cape rental to me for free!
I highly reccommend this Bridal salon, or Janelle Leer in particular, to anyone in the area or even anyone from Edmonton or Calgary who's willing to travel to get amazing service at a salon they can trust.
