Chris and I have been together since October 2001. We first met in fall 2000 when I started at a new school. The grade ten girls and boys Phys Ed classes were split and sometimes they would have a class together. There is a unit on Dance in grade ten, so we did that unit with the boys. They would play part of a song and then the music would stop, they'd yell "Switch!" and you had to switch partners.
So here I was, new to the school, and I only knew two girls in my class. I'm standing there, and all of a sudden this guy comes out of nowhere and wraps his arm around my waist and says "you're dancing with me" I was like, "okey..." 
Afterwards, I was like, "Who was that guy?" and my friends said, "Oh, that's just Pascoe" I was like, "Pascoe? that's his name?" and they laughed and said "No. Pascoe's his last name. His name is Chris but everyone calls him Pascoe."

So that's how we met, but we didn't start dating 'till a year later.
